क्या है प्यार?

प्यार को बयां करना जितना मुश्किल है महसूस करना उतना ही आसान है। आपको प्यार कब, कैसे और कहां हो जाएगा आप खुद भी नहीं जान पाते। वो पहली नज़र में भी हो सकता है और हो सकता है कि कई मुलाकातों के बाद भी।
प्रेम तीन स्तरों में प्रेमी के जीवन में आता है। चाहत, वासना और आसक्ति के रूप में। इसके अलावा प्रेम से जुड़ी कुछ और बातें भी हैं -
प्रेम का दार्शनिक पक्ष- प्रेम पनपता है तो अहंकार टूटता है। अहंकार टूटने से सत्य का जन्म होता है। जहां तक मीरा, सूफी संतों की बात है, उनका प्रेम अमृत है।अन्य रिश्तों की तरह ही प्रेम में भी संमजस्य बेहद ज़रूरी है। आप यदि बेतरतीबी से हारमोनियम के स्वर दबाएं तो कर्कश शोर ही सुनाई देगा, वहीं यदि क्रमबद्ध दबाएं तो मधुर संगीत गूंजेगा। यही समरसता प्यार है, जिसके लिए सामंजस्य बेहद ज़रूरी है।
प्रेम का पौराणिक पक्ष- प्रेम के पौराणिक पक्ष को लेकर पहला सवाल यही दिमाग में आता है कि प्रेम किस धरातल पर उपजा-वासना या फिर चाहत....? माना प्रेम में काम का महत्वपूर्ण स्थान है, लेकिन महज वासना के दम पर उपजे प्रेम का अंत तलाक ही होता है। जबकि चाहत के रंगों में रंगा प्यार ज़िंदगीभर बहार बन दिलों में खिलता है, जिसकी महक उम्रभर आपके साथ होती है।
प्रेम का वर्जित क्षेत्र- सामान्यतः समाज में विवाह के बाद प्रेम संबंध की अनुमति है। दूध के रिश्ते का निर्वाह तो सभी करते हैं, इसके अलावा निकट के सभी रक्त संबंध भी वर्जित क्षेत्र माने जाते हैं, जैसे- चचेरे, ममेरे, मौसेरे, फुफेरे भाई-बहन या मित्र की बहन या पत्नी आदि। किसी बुजुर्ग का किसी किशोरी से प्रेम संबंध भी व्याभिचार की श्रेणी में आता है। ऐसा इसलिए भी है कि एक सामाजिक प्राणी होने के नाते नियमों की रक्षा करना हमारा कर्त्तव्य भी है।
प्रेम का प्रतीक गुलाब- सुगंध और सौंदर्य का अनुपम समन्वय गुलाब सदियों से प्रेमी-प्रेमिकाओं के आकर्षण का केंद्र रहा है। गुलाब का जन्म स्थान कहां है यह आज भी विवाद का विषय बना हुआ है। इस पर कथाएं तो कई हैं, लेकिन एक कथा के अनुसार जहां-जहां पैगम्बर के पसीने की बूंदें गिरीं, वहां-वहां गुलाब के पौधे उग आए। लाल गुलाब की कली मासूमियत का प्रतीक है और यह संदेश देती है तुम सुंदर और प्यारी हो। लाल गुलाब किसी को भेंट किया जाए तो यह संदेश है कि मैं तुम्हें प्यार करता हूं। सफ़ेद गुलाब गोपनीयता रखते हुए कहता है कि तुम्हारा सौंदर्य नैसर्गिक है। जहां पीला गुलाब प्रसन्नता व्यक्त करता है, वहीं गुलाबी रंग प्रसन्नता और कृतज्ञता व्यक्त करता है। गुलाब यदि दोस्ती का प्रतीक है तो गुलाब की पत्तियां आशा की प्रतीक है।
प्यार सिर्फ़ करने के लिए होता है। इसमे बदले की कोई आशा नही होनी चाहिए।
एक प्यार करने वाले से पूछा गया कि प्यार क्या होता है? कैसा लगता है? तो उसका जवाब था कि प्यार गेहूँ की तरह बंद है, अगर पीस दें तो उजला हो जाएगा, पानी के साथ गूंथ लो तो लचीला हो जाएगा... बस यह लचीलापन ही प्यार है, लचीलापन पूरी तरह समर्पण से आता है, जहां न कोई सीमा है न शर्त। प्यार एक एहसास है, भावना है। प्रेम परंपराएं तोड़ता है। प्यार त्याग व समरसता का नाम है।प्रेम की अभिव्यक्ति सबसे पहले आंखों से होती है और फिर होंठ हाले दिल बयां करते हैं।
