!!!!!...Feng Shui Tips 4 Happy Home...!!!!!

Home is where the hearth is, they say, and to make it even more peaceful and to increase the happiness.

1. The Entrance
The first thing you notice, when someone (or you) enter/s your residence, is one of the strongest filters that your subconscious mind will receive. It is, therefore, important that what you first see is beautiful and refreshing. So, you may put a nice painting, fountain or something visually elevating at the place of entrance.

2. A  Baby's Signal
If you want to buy a new flat or house, you take a new born baby there. If it cries, without any external influence or cause, it means that the house/ premises does not carry a positive energy field. On the other hand, if the baby remains calm and smiles/ plays/ laughs, it indicates that the house/ premises has a good, positive vibe/ aura.

3. The Tibetan Bell
In order to improve the overall energy levels of your house, ring the Tibetan bell around the house every few days. This will make empower the positive energy in and around your house.

4. The Three Legged Toad
Place a model of Three Legged Toad in a way at your home that it faces the main door. This ancient and mystical Feng Shui symbol, which signifies wealth and prosperity, will help you improve your savings, earnings, and thereby, your financial status as well.

5. The Unwanted Guests
Ensure that you never sit with your back towards the main door/ entrance of your home. This is a trick, however, which you can use to get rid of the unwanted guests from your home. You can make them sit on such seats, where their back faces the entrance, and you will see them leaving soon :)

6. Clean the Clutter
Too much of clutter in a home tends to invite or trap  a lot of negative energy. So get rid of the trash. Also, never keep broken or damaged instruments and items at your home, like watches, telephones, mixer, electronic items, ball pens, cassettes etc., for they carry negative energy. Keep getting rid of this junk, and you will see how light and clean your home's aura feels.

7. The Flooring
Check if any tile or an area of flooring is broken. If you find that a part of the floor is broken in your home, get it repaired or replaced, as soon as possible, because the negative energy it spreads may affect your relationship with your family members. If repairing is not possible, you may also put a carpet to cover the damaged area.

8. The Name Plate
Keeping a name plate, clearly written address and number of your property on the outside wall of your home has reasons beyond obvious. As per Feng Shui, this is very important, as it helps direct the opportunities towards your home, and the ethereal opportunities do not miss you this way.

9. The Fish and Water
Feng Shui considers flowing water and floating fish as very important and auspicious symbols, which help reduce negativity and invite positive vibes. However, they need not be overdone or wrongly done. For example, you may place a fountain or a water feature in your home, but it should not be very large, as this can create energy imbalance. If you wish to install a water feature, go with a small size, try to keep the water moving and clean. If you keep a fish tank/ home aquarium, ensure that the water is clean and clear at all times. Also, you may keep a small statue of fish at your home in your bedroom, as this is known to avert misfortune.

10.  The Placement
Try placing your bed in such a way that it does not faces a mirror on the opposite. In short, you should not be able to see your reflection in the mirror, when you sleep. In your kitchen, do not place the stove directly across a sink. The doors and gates in your home should ideally open inwards, and be of the double leaf kind to welcome the auspicious Qi energy. Use a full-height gate in the West to obstruct negative Yang energy. Do not hang a wind-chime over your bed as it may have attracted and absorbed negative energy during the day. Try ensuring that there is no tree facing the main door or window of your home, as it could result into poor health of your family members. Alternatively, you may place a convex mirror on the outer wall facing that tree.

Never be Blind in Purchasing any Insurance/Bond

Today I come across a biggest fraud of Insurance Industry, I already know about it but company like SBI can do this, I never think about it. the biggest lesson i learnt after it "Never" be a part of any policy in hurry even they allure u with the biggest ever profit.

As per my Experience i got a call from SBI Life Insurance in September, the caller told me that today is SBI Life Insurance Anniversary date, so today we offer a plan which will expire today only. In to this plan you pay only 25000/- for the policy for which the premium is decided as 30000/- , so in this manner you will get direct 5000/- profit in a year, as in between SBI and you no agent involved. (This is also incorrect and first false pomise)

The next profit with which they allure me is you will get a sum of 370000/-+ Bonus after 7 year which is the locking period of this policy named as Shubh Nivesh - Endowment Plan. In to this i will get the Premium which i paid for 7 year as 30000/-*7 = 210000/- with the Sum assured as 160000/- plus Bonus which will announce later.

They are in so hurry and shown me the wrong picture of policy and taken any doc with which they are just close it and finalized the policy. For proving their say they calling me again and again being their senior and junior with girls involved in to this too, so that i become sure about it and purchase it fast.

After so many calls, in last they trapped me, but still i was not sure, on the confirmation call when i ask the same question to the caller about final amount which i will get in last, he confused and be mum on my question after that call off and said the senior will call you again, but i didn't get any call and after few days the doc come to my home with out verification or confirmation to me.

When i read the Policy document, there were nothing in written as they assured me, there specified the sum which i will get after 7 year is only 159000/- (Sum assured) +  Bonus (Not Declare). when i again call to confirm the same adviser, they again start making me confuse in the word as throwing my call from one person to other and still with false promises but not ready to shown me in written.

I called to many other adviser and collect the information, also searched internet for the same confusion and finally with some other agent of SBI also, they didn't know about my case, and in last come to conclusion as after maturity i will only get 159000/- which is shown as sum assured in policy with Bonus(not known).

It means they simply fooled me and still fooling to throw calls here and there to just surpass my 15 days Free Look Periods as the same info i got from Internet too.

With the full day effort, call and net finally i came to the conclusion of cancellation of  the policy as soon as possible and put this deli-ma to an end.

So today i search a branch near to me and visit it for cancellation, initially he was very much friendly to me when he didn't know about my case, also inform me the real scenario of this policy, but when he know that i already purchased it and came  here for cancellation, he quickly made a plan to harass me.

After 4 round of travel between home and SBI office, i cancelled my policy and got the cancellation slip. Now relaxed but very much disappointed with the behavior of the SBI Insurance Staff, Who fooled me as well as harnessed me during all this process.

Finally i can only say and beware to others--

"Never take any policy without judging it self,
Never ever trust upon the seller/adviser blindly"

I also want to take action against the team who fooled me but i know nothing can be happens to them, as it is pre-planned and they will be ready for the same.

SBI didn't know that SBI Life Insurance is ramming its brand value with this type of fraud and collaboration. Using the SBI brand value and Name, it's become very easy to this insurance company to make fools around as every one blindly trust on SBI.

SBI Life Insurance is not the Part of Main SBI so beware....!!!!!!!

A Kindhearted Manager

One afternoon a wealthy manager was driving in his limousine when he saw two men along the roadside eating grass. Disturbed by the sight, he ordered his driver to stop and he got out to investigate. He asked one man "Why are you eating grass?"

"We don't have any money for food," the poor man replied. "We have to eat grass." "Well, then, you can come with me to my house and I'll feed you" the manager said.

"But sir, I have a wife and five children with me. They are over there, under that tree".

"Bring them along," the manager replied. Turning to the other poor man he stated, "You come with us also."

The second man, in a pitiful voice then said, "But sir, I also have a wife and seven children with me!"

"Bring them all, as well," the manager answered.
They all entered the car, which was no easy task, even for a car as large as the limousine was.

Once underway, one of the poor fellows turned to mr. Manager and said, "Sir, you are too kind. Thank you for taking all of us with you."

The manager replied, "Glad to do it. You'll really love my place; the grass is almost  1 meter high!"

Lesson: Never trust managers... and there is nothing like KIND MANAGERS ?

Traits, we just can`t resist in a Leo!!!!

(July 23 - August 22)

We all have certain traits in us that add to our likability in school, college workplace and home too! Where do we get these traits from? Do we learn all that from our parents? Do we get trained to behave like this? Nope. We`re born with them. Each zodiac has its own irresistible traits.

Confident
They have this never ending level of confidence in them. Hasn't confidence always been a turn on? You`ll often find a Leo person presenting ideas to a crowd with such confidence, that it`ll sway you off your feet. Their powerful and convincing way of putting forward their point simply makes people want to go by their point of view.

Ambitious
A Leo person is very ambitious. Once aimed for something, this person will skip no effort to achieve it. This makes them hardworking, totally ready to take up any challenging situation, coming before them. Such a strong and powerful personality is obviously hard to resist!

Generous
They have such big hearts, that anyone and everyone has place in there. Always ready to help, these people will never let a person go through misery in front of them. They know when to take a stand and are often seen not only helping others, but also motivating people to offer help to the needy.

Loyal
A Leo person is the most loyal person you`ll ever come across. Be it their family, love or work, you will find their loyal attempts everywhere. A true person and a dedicated worker; this is what defines a leo.

Straightforward
One of the rarely found traits is straightforwardness. They don`t keep any ill feelings in their heart. If they like something they never forget to express it and if they don`t like something, they never forget to mention. This way there are no elongated ill feelings or grudges.

Optimist
The glass is always half filled for these guys. They are complete optimists and manage to find the brighter side of every situation. Finding such people is such a treat in life.  No cribbing, no crying, just making the most of what we have.

Focused and Devoted
When a Leo takes up a job, the only time they`ll leave it is when it`s completed with the best efforts within their capabilities. You will find a very devoted person in a Leo. Apart of being devoted to their work, they are very devoted lover and family person too.

Romantic
A Leo has a beautiful heart. They love with all that they can but of course want the same love in return. Leo is a strong, loyal, affectionate and warm lover. This person will also be very enthusiastic and chirpy, when in love. One thing is for sure, they`ll never let you get bored with them being around.

Energetic
These people are not the lets-sit-at-home-for-some-alone-time kind. They are the outgoing, talkative people engaged in a lot of activities. These busy and active souls attract way too much attention owing to this trait.

Limelight Seeker
Leos have a craving for the limelight. They like being the center of attraction. The catch here is that they know that in order to achieve this, they have to prove their worth. They take the right path to achieve this attention and are therefore often seen as being popular. They exhibit their amazing talents making you go all gaga over them!

Can switching to LPG or CNG damage your car's engine?
Always Center raised petrol prices while leaving diesel and compressed natural gas (CNG) untouched. After the hike, a liter of petrol in New Delhi cost Rs 73.60.
If you are a petrol car owner, the hike has definitely turned your monthly fuel budget topsy-turvy. But while you cannot reduce fuel prices, you can bring down your monthly fuel expenses. Here we list the various options at your disposal.
MORE MILES PER LITER
Even if you don’t want to convert to CNG or switch over to a diesel car, you can still cut down on your fuel expenses. Here’s how.
- Cut off the engine if the stoppage time at the traffic intersection is more than a minute.
- Keep tyre pressure at correct level. Over inflating can help, but more than 1-2 psi could affect the car’s handling and braking.
- Fill fuel in the morning when it is densest.
- If the car is parked in the sun for long, run the air-conditioner with the windows open for a minute or two and then close them and run the a/c in re-circulation mode. The hot air will escape faster without the air-conditioner having to cool it, thus reducing the load on the car engine. Keep the temperature inside the cabin at 24 degrees. Don’t chill the interiors.
- Avoid sudden acceleration and braking while driving.
You can either convert your existing car to run on CNG or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), or opt to buy a diesel car.
But exercising either option will entail substantial funding. So you need to calculate the expenses of installation and registration (in case you switch over to CNG or LPG) or the additional fund required to buy a diesel car over a petrol version.
CONVERTING TO CNG OR LPG
While several theories suggest that they damage the car’s engine, none of these have been proven. But what has been established is that running a car on CNG or LPG results in a drop in power output by 10-15 per cent.
But do ensure that you install an LPG or a CNG kit at an authorized outlet, preferably one owned or authorized by the car manufacturer. Badly installed sub-standard kits could lead to an explosion or a fire.
Otherwise, you can even buy a car with a factory-fitted CNG kit. But keep in mind that the number of CNG or LPG stations are far fewer than petrol pumps, so do consider the waiting time you have to spend each time you decide to tank up.
CALCULATION
Fill up the tank, note the odometer reading and drive for around 200 km. If you have you have to fill up the tank with say, 15 liters of petrol, then the fuel efficiency of your car is 13.33 km/pl.
Now petrol costs Rs 73.6 per liter, so your per kilometer travel will cost Rs 73.6 / 13.33 or Rs 5.52
Find out the average running cost of LPG or CNG from other users or company claims. Add another 10-15 per cent to the information claimed. Suppose the running cost is Rs2 per km. So, your saving will be Rs 3.27 per km.
Suppose if installation and registration cost of the converted car comes to Rs30,000, then you need to run the car for 30,000/3.27 or  9,174 km to offset the cost. Beyond that you will gain in terms of running cost every kilometer. So, if you plan to change before logging that many kilometers, it makes sense not to go for a retrofit.
For LPG kit also, do the same calculation
DIESEL VS PETROL CARS
A few car owners Outlook Money spoke to said they had stopped using their petrol cars and were thinking of buying a diesel car.
“I have a diesel Indica and a petrol SX4. I don’t use the SX4 anymore. If I need two cars, I will sell off the SX4 and buy a diesel car,” says Saugat Mahapatra, who lives in New Delhi.
“I have a petrol car, but I don’t use it regularly, so I don’t see any need to convert it to CNG. If I need a car for regular use, I will have to buy a diesel car,” says Sandeep Singh, an owner of a Zen Estilo.
However, not only do diesel cars cost more, even their maintenance is costly, so unless you drive it regularly, it could as well become your white elephant.
CALCULATION
Calculate the number of years you intend to retain the car, say 5 years, and the total kilometres the car will clock in a year, say 20,000 km.  So, in five years the car will run  100,000 kms.
Suppose your chosen diesel car gives a city mileage of 16 km/pl, so the total fuel consumption in five years will be 6,250 litres. The fuel cost in five year will come to 6,250 x Rs 41 or Rs 2,56,250 and for a petrol car, it will be   Rs 4,39, 000
So, the price difference between running a diesel and a petrol car comes to Rs 1,82,750.
Diesel cars usually cost Rs1 lakh more and servicing and maintenance is expensive by 25 per cent (say Rs20,000 more) So the effective gain will be Rs62,750.
Also consider the resale value of your car. Typically, in five years, a Rs5-lakh petrol car will sell for Rs2.5 lakh and a Rs6-lakh diesel for Rs3 lakh.
But diesel cars are now fetching a premium in the used car market and petrols are going for a discount (Say this is 5 per cent). So the monetary gain after factoring them in will be Rs3,15,000-Rs2,37,500. So, the total monetary benefit of a diesel over
5 years will be Rs62,750 + Rs77,500 or Rs1,40,250.
There are other non-monetary factors too like driving ease (e.g., fewer number of gear shifts  while driving in slow traffic) and efficiency of air-conditioner). Largely, diesel scores on both counts.
With the price differential between petrol and diesel at around Rs30 per litre, financially, you would be better off with a diesel if you plan to run the car more than 35,000 km or so if you are talking about A, B or C segment cars.

Exercises to Minimize Back Pain
Working for long hours in a cramped, sedentary work space taxes your spine, making most men prone to backaches. Try these simple exercises to reduce backaches in no time at all.
The increasing pressure of work life leaves little room for personal grooming and exercise.
Working for long hours, on a cramped sedentary work space, taxes your spine, making most men prone to backaches. The following article will provide a list of simple exercises that will reduce backache in no time.
1. Wall Slides
This exercise will help strengthen your knees and legs. Stand straight with your back against the wall and your feet apart by 1 foot.
a. With your back still touching the wall, slide down and bend your knees as you go. While sliding down count to five till your knees are at a 45 degree angle. Take care not to strain your knees. If you feel any discomfort in your knees, stop immediately.
b. Remain in this position for at least five seconds.

c. While counting to five, slide up the wall and straighten your knees to the starting position.
d. Repeat the above steps five times more. This exercise should be done 3 times a day for a week to be able to provide some relief.

2. Leg Raises

This exercise concentrates on your leg, hip and calf muscles and will help take the weight off the posture, off the spine.

a. Spread a yoga mat on the floor and lie down flat on your stomach.
b. Lift one leg off the ground.
c. Hold it in this position for at least 10 seconds. You will feel your thighs, buttocks, calves and hip muscles tighten.
d. Exhale while you gradually set your foot down on the floor again. Rest for 5 seconds.
e. Repeat this process with the other leg.
f. Practice this exercise 5 more times and do it 3 times a day.

3. Supine Leg Raise
This helps in strengthening the spinal column and thigh muscles.

a. Spread a yoga mat on the floor and lie down with your back on the floor.
b. Lift one leg two feet off the ground.
c. Hold it in this position for at least 10 seconds.
d. Exhale while gradually setting the raised foot down on the floor. Rest for 5 seconds.
e. Repeat this process with the other leg.
f. Practice this exercise 5 more times and do it 3 times a day.

Say goodbye to backaches forever!

4.Pay attention to your posture:
This cannot be said enough. Slouching, sitting on sofas which do not offer firm support to the back and sleeping in an awkward position may give you a stiff back the next morning. Reclining in a chair without support to the lower back in the form of a cushion is a no-no. Sleeping on the side in the fetal position is the best way to take the pressure off a weak back.

Do you have a desk job? Then this workplace ergonomics article is a must for you.

5. Semi Sit-ups:

This eases the tension in the spine by helping it stretch.
a. Lie flat on a yoga mat with your knees bent and your feet on the ground. Keep your arms underneath your head and your elbows parallel to the floor.

b. Only lift your head and shoulders off the floor and try to touch the knees with your nose.

c. Hold it for at least 10 seconds.

d. Exhale while gradually lying back on the floor to your starting position. Rest for 5 seconds.

e. Practice 5 more times and do it 3 times a day.

6. Standing Back Stretch

This exercise is said to relieve the pressure from the spine and reduce backaches significantly.
a. Stand straight with your feet apart by 1 foot.

b. Place the palm of your hand on your lower back.

c. Inhale deeply while you gradually bend back and keep your knees straight. Take care not to strain your back too much.

d. Hold this position for 5 seconds.

e. Exhale and slowly return to your upright position.

f. Practice 5 more times and do it 3 times a day.

7. Hip Rolls

This exercise concentrates on the hip muscles.
a. Stand straight with your feet apart and put your hands on your hips.

b. Slowly move your hips in a circular clockwise motion. Make sure that you only move your hips and not the whole body.

c. Do this for 10 counts.

d. Now move your hips in the anti-clockwise direction.

e. Continue with this movement for 10 counts.

f. Practice 5 times more and do it 3 times a day.

8. Knee Lunges:

This exercise will strengthen spine, knee and thigh muscles.
a. Stand straight with your left leg in front of your right.
b. Bend your knee forward gradually keeping your right leg straight and your left knee directly in front of your left foot.

c. Hold for 10 seconds.

d. Gradually move back to your starting position.

e. Repeat with your right leg.

f. Practice this routine 5 more times and do it 3 times a day.

9. Mid Back Stretch

This exercise will ease the hip muscles and do away with any strains whatsoever.
a. Stand straight with your feet apart and hands on your hips.
b. Gently twist to your left at the waist, going as far as permitted. Try to look over your shoulder and do not change the position of your feet.

c. Hold for 10 seconds.

d. Gradually twist back to your starting position. Rest for 5 seconds.

e. Repeat for the other side.

Newly Developed ‘SMS Gateway’ Launched for Sending Alerts to Railway Passengers Regarding their PNR Status

Indian Railways added another milestone by launching yet another innovative scheme called the ‘SMS Gateway’, which will enable passengers to get SMS alerts on the status of reserved tickets. The ‘SMS Gateway’ which was developed by Centre for Railway information Systems (CRIS), an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Railways, was launched by the Minister of State for Railways Shri Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury here today on the occasion of a seminar on the theme “Role of IT in Rail Services – Present and Future”. The seminar was organised by the Centre for Transportation Research and Management (CTRAM), an autonomous body of the Ministry of Railways. Present on occasion the were Shri Arunendra Kumar, Chairman, Railway Board, Shri D. P. Pande, Member Traffic, Shri Kul Bhushan, Member Electrical and Shri Alok Johri, Member Mechanical, of Railway Board.

The ‘SMS Gateway’ project will be used to send SMS alerts to passengers in case of status change in the PRS tickets, as compared to the initial booking status (For example W/L to RAC, RAC to CNF, W/L to CNF). SMS alerts prior to chart preparation will be sent once a day, in case of status change only, beginning from 5 days before the journey date. The SMS alerts after chart preparation (which is normally done 3-4 hours before train departure), will convey the actual Berth No., Coach No. and RAC No. for those passengers whose final Charting status has changed as compared to the initial booked status. In case of any ticket upgradation or seat re-allotment also SMS alerts will be sent.

It is estimated that a large of SMS alerts will be sent on daily basis (approx. 4 lakh), hence the system will be made ONLINE in phases. Initially, the system would be configured for sending post chart alerts in a few selective Rajdhani trains, followed by other Mail Express trains. Subsequently the pre chart alerts will be enabled.

This facility will greatly reduce the last minute enquiry rush on the PRS websites and Call Centre as well as reduce the4 crowding near the pasted Chart locations on the Railway Platforms. This service will be provided free of cost to the users. This will enhance the image of Indian Railways.

Taking the things forward, CRIS took up the project for setting up of SMS Gateway of sending alerts to passengers, sanctioned by the Railways Board. Till now passengers can find about their PNR status through website enquiries or Call Centre (139) or IVRS or SMS enquiry. Railways decided to proactively send the SMS alerts to passengers at no extra charges to them.

During the development of the application for sending SMS alerts, considerable challenges were faced, to ensure that there is no adverse impact in the normal functioning of the backend main PRS system (CONCERT), which is one of the largest ticketing applications in the world. M/s Mahindra Comiva and Velti System, India were the technical partners of CRIS for making this project a success.
