Success has Nature

In 1972, Jim Cathcart was working at the Little Rock, Arkansas Housing Authority, making $525 a month, with a new wife and baby at home, no college degree, no past successes, and not much hope for the foreseeable future. One morning, he was sitting in his office listening to the radio, to a program called "Our Changing World" by Earl Nightingale, who was known as "the Dean of Personal Motivation." That day, Nightingale, in his booming voice, said something that would change Jim's life forever: "If you will spend an extra hour each day in study of your chosen field, you will be a national expert in that field in five years or less." Jim was stunned, but the more he thought about it the more it made sense. Although he had never given a speech, he had always wanted to help people grow in areas of personal development and motivation.

He began his quest to put Nightingale's theory to the test by reading books and listening to tapes whenever he could. He also started exercising, became better organized, and joined a self-improvement study group. He persisted through weeks of temptations to quit, just by doing a little more each day to further his goal. Within six months he had learned more than he had in his few years of college, and he began to believe he could turn his goal of becoming a motivational speaker into reality. All the hard work, the discipline, and study paid off. Jim now has delivered more than 2,500 speeches worldwide and has won every major award in the speaking industry. Just like companies have market value, so do people. In the simplest terms, your market value increases by knowing and doing more. Knowledge is power, not only for your career, but also to improve your family and spiritual life. I once heard a quote that sums it up well, "Knowledge is like climbing a mountain; the higher you reach the more you can see and appreciate."

Moral: Believe in yourself, and take the plunge- It's worth it!

Kuch Sheer........

Paane se khone ka maza aur hai,Band aankhon se dekhne ka maza aur hai.
Aansoo bane lafz aur lafz gazal,Teree yaadon ke saath jine ka maza kuchh aur hai.

Vo hamaare naheen to kya gam hai,Ham to unhee ke hain ye kya kam hai.
Na gam kam hai na aansoo kam hai,Dekhte hain rulaane waale men kitna dam hai.

Aansoo ko aankhon kee dehleez par laaya na karo.
Apne dil kee haalat kisee ko bataaya na karo.
Log muTThee bhar namak liye ghooma karte hain.
Apne zakham kisee ko dikhaaya na karo.

Mere marne ke baad ai dost aansoo mat bahaana.
Agar yaad aaye meree to seedhe upar chale aana.
Agar wahaan men na dikhun to samajh lena tu narak men hai.

Dil ko dhadkna tune sikhaaya,Dil ko taRapna tune sikhaaya,
Aankhon men aansoo kahin chhupe the,Unko jhalakna tune sikhaaya.

Har ek muskuraahaT mus'kaan naheen hotee,
Nafrat ho ya mohabbat aasaan naheen hotee,
Aansoo gam ke or khushee ke ek jai'se hote hain,
Inkee pahachaan aasan naheen hotee..

Dostee karo to dhoka mat dena, Dus'ron ko aansoo ka tohfa mat dena,
Dil se roye koee zind'gee bhar, Aisa kisee ko mauqa mat dena..

Meree rooh kee haqeeqat, Mere aansoo se puchho.
Mere kah'kahon kee duniya, Mere tar'juman naheen hai.

Ek din hamaare aansoo ham se poochh baiThe,Hamen roz roz kyon bulaate ho?
Ham'ne kaha, ham yaad unhen karte hain, Tum kyon chale aate ho?

Aansuon ko bahut samajhaaya tan'haai men aaya karo,
Mah'fil men hamaara mazaak na udaaya karo,
Ispar aansoo taRap kar bole.....
Itne logon men aapko tanha paate hain isliye chale aate hain.

Bewafaai kabool hai wafaai ke liye,Aansoo kabool hai hansee ke liye,
Ham to moh'taaz hai aapke pyaar ke,Dushman kabool hai aapkee dostee ke liye

Bahoot tamanna thi, Pyaar men aashiyan banaane ki,
Bana chuke to lag gayee nazar zamaane ki.
Usee ka karz hai jo aaj hain aankhon men aansoo,
Saza milee hain hamen bas muskuraane kee.

Tujhe dekhe bina teree tasweer bana sakta hoon,
Tujh'se mile bina tera haal bata sakta hoon,
Hai meree dostee main itna dam,
Apnee aankh ka aansoo teree aankh se gira sakta hoon.

Aankhen teree bahe to  aansoo mere ho,
Saan'se teree chale to dhadkan meree ho,
Zind'gee se yahee dil-ai- tammana hai ki,
Dhadkan teree ruke aur maut meree ho...

Dil ka zakhm zubaan par laaya naheen karte,
Ham apnee aankhon se aansoo bahaaya naheen karte,
Zakhm kitne hee gah're kyon na ho,
Ham apne honton se muskuraahaT haTaaya naheen karte.

Tan'haai hai pyaar main,
Bar'baadee hai pyaar main,
Aansoo hai pyaar main,
Bebasee hai pyaar main,
Gam bhee hai pyaar main,
Haar bhee hai pyaar main,
Hamen sab pata hai
Lekin kya karen ham bhee hain pyaar main.

Aansoowon se palak bhigo leta hoon,
Yaad teree aatee hai to ro leta hoon.
Socha ki bhoola doon tujhe mager,
Har baar faisla badal deta hoon.

Jeans the perfect fit

Jeans has always been the favorite in the fashion world. Jeans is available in different styles, cut and has become an all purpose wear. However to flaunt your figure you need to wear the pair that fits you best. You need to pick the pair of jeans that fit you perfectly and make you look amazing. Well it is not that difficult………all you have to do is try on several pair to find just the right style and fit. Also follow these guidelines.

Tall/slim figure:
Perfect jeans: Look for styles that are plain and simple with straight legs. If you want to draw attention to your long legs then go for a style with a flared leg or design along the outside length of the jean.

Avoid: Jeans with a tapered leg. This will only accentuate the size of your feet (and taller girls often have big feet) and make your legs look strange.

Long Torso:
Prefect jeans: In your body type it is very difficult to choose the perfect jeans. Ideally you should go for a pair of jeans with a defined waist that will make your bottom half look longer and leaner. Also wear a belt since it will define your body shape perfectly.

Avoid: Jeans with a long, bulky or tight crotch.

Pear-Shaped:
Perfect jeans: Go for styles with a flared leg, boot cut or pattern around the ankle area.

Avoid: Jeans that are tight around the thigh area and tapered or baggy styles.

Wide Hips:
Perfect jeans: Choose a jean with a low-rise waist and a slight flare at the leg to help to balance your silhouette. Go for jeans with a bit of stretch and make sure they have large back pockets.

Avoid: Styles with really big or really small back pockets and detailing across the back.

Petite:

Perfect jeans: Go for a pair with straight legs, worn on the long side, to help give you a taller silhouette. To make your legs look longer wear heels with a boot leg style, and make sure you go for dark-colored jeans.

Avoid: If you’re after a pair of jeans that will make your legs look longer, avoid styles with cuffs and Capri pants.

Short-waisted:
Perfect jeans: Go in for hipsters or super-hipsters. Low-slung, hipster styles will give you the illusion of having a longer torso.

Avoid: Jeans with a zip more than 3 inches long and jeans with fringe or embellishment along the waistband.

Plus-size:
Perfect jeans: Go for dark-colored jeans with a straight leg, boot cut or flare.

Avoid: Light-colored jeans and styles that feature patterning down the legs. Also avoid jeans with pleats and elastic waists, as well as baggy styles.

~~Chiraag mein~~

jab koi junoon aata hai dimaag mein
apna khoon daal deta hoon chiraag mein

aik chehra ban jaata hai meri aahon se
aik soorat chhupi huii hai dil ke daag mein

dard ke siwaa mujhko milaa kuch bhi nahin
maine dil lagaaya tha khushiyon ki laag mein

lapton mein mujhko dekh kar mayous hote hain
jhoonk to dete hain mere khat woh aag mein

kaanton se apna daaman bhar ke laaya hoon
mil gaya tha aik shakhs phoolon ke baag mein

Reasons for a job switch

Sooner or later the itch begins. You can't help but feel it's time to make that job switch. The reasons could be varied: monetary, job satisfaction, or even a lousy boss. Whatever be your reason and however determined you are to move on, you still need to plan the transition well.

To begin with, tackle the issue of why you are making the switch. It is important to leave for the right reasons. Start off by listing the main problems with your current job. Is it possible to fix the problems? Do they have a solution?

It's a good idea to discuss these issues with a trusted colleague or your boss. They may be willing to support you once they learn about your aspirations. 6 top reasons for a job switch and what you must do before taking the plunge.

'I hate my job profile'
If this is the case, you will be less productive and will start deteriorating professionally as the job does not stimulate you any more.
Ask yourself what it is in your profile that you dislike. For instance, if you are a creative person, a mechanical job profile will stifle you. You need to ensure that your dislikes are not emotional in nature. So just because you dislike the people your work with does not mean it is time for a switch. One you are clear what it is in your profile that needs changing, talk to your seniors to find out if there is a possibility that the issue will be reconsidered. If not, then it is probably time to move on.

'I want more responsibility'
Hit a ceiling in terms of your career growth and don't see any future in the current setup? Or, the only way you can get to the next level is if your boss resigns?
Then you need to talk to your boss and explore the option of moving to a new department with increased levels of responsibility. If it works out, make sure that you are not just being lured away by the promise of a fancy sounding designation.
Don't be inhibited by starting afresh on a new assignment within the same organisation. It will work out well for you if it allows you to grow professionally and financially.

'I want to start out on my own'
Tired of working for someone else? Have a great business idea that you feel can turn big? If being your own boss appeals to you then that might be a good reason to leave the job.
But, do your homework. Don't just get excited and rush into something. Is there a market for your services/product? Have you got a solid business plan in place? Have you considered how you are going to raise money for it? Have you discussed it with professionals in the industry?
In your enthusiasm, don't forget that you will be letting go of the security and comfort associated with a steady paycheck. So be ready for a rough ride.
Consider the possibility of failure. Most new businesses fail or shut down in their very first year of operation.

'It's just personal'
Erratic shifts. Lots of out-of-station travel. Too time consuming with no time for the family. Expected to work seven days a week? Any of these could cause you to reconsider your priorities.
While that is alright, don't live under the illusion that everything will fall into place with a new job. You may have to make some important lifestyle decisions to achieve a balance between work-life and personal time.
It's a competitive world and you may have to take a cut in your salary to have more time at home or pursue other interests.

'I got fired'
You could get fired as most organisations adopt a performance-based culture with little tolerance towards non-performers. Don't be angry and waste time bad mouthing people and the organisation. Instead, find out the real reason and move out.

Or maybe, you are about to get fired with the company on a downsizing mode. Then it's better to walk out before you are left with no choice.

There are no foolproof ways to protect against job loss but you can certainly do the following.
  • Be calm and proactive, not reactive. Talk to your boss and find out if you can be relocated or be offered a different position. Storming into his office and shouting will not get you anywhere.
  • Stay positive. It can open new doors and opportunities that you may have ignored if not challenged.
  • If downsizing has started, aggressively take more initiatives to get involved in the organisation. Make yourself valuable so that losing you is not an easy option for the organisation. However, continue your job search simultaneously.
'I hate my boss'
The popular cliché, "People don't leave their organisations; they leave their boss", holds true. You are just a part of a large community who feels the same way.
Here are some typical bad boss traits:
  • Does not respect employees.
  • Does not trust colleagues.
  • Does not take or give any feedback.
  • Assigns too many tasks and sets impossible deadlines.
  • Is often rude and intimidating.
Before resigning, try these options.

1. Communicate your issues
Be specific. For example, just saying that you have too much work is vague. Instead, break down your tasks into the amount of time you will actually have to spend on each of them that week, and show your boss how many hours it will take. With a clear statement of required time, your boss is more likely to lessen your load to a reasonable level.

2. Make your boss feel good
This one is specially true if you boss has a big ego or needs to have his confidence constantly boosted. Work harder on him. If you have a good idea but think he will refuse, invest a little more time in convincing him.

3. Do a good job
This may sound obvious but when the quality of your work is good, everyone benefits including your boss. So make sure that you exceed your goals or targets, are punctual for all meetings, meet deadlines and are a brand ambassador for your company and project it well.

4. Anticipate the your boss's need
If you know that the boss's boss likes graphs and analysis in a presentation, prepare them for your boss. You can say something like, "I know your superior likes graphical illustrations, so I thought these might make your presentation go a little smoother". If your boss is at a loss of words in a meeting, you might want to chip in and give him the support he needs. Be supportive, invest in building a rapport.
There is no such thing as the perfect boss. But if you are willing to acknowledge his/her flaws and strong points, then you are on the right track.

The bottom-line: Know your worth and if all else fails, don't feel dejected. It is time for you to move on.

भय ही प्रबल है।
